The Role: The Associate Marketing Manager is an integral and broad role working closely with content partners and across Roku. This candidate is responsible for managing all creative assets necessary to support the marketing efforts promoting our channel partners content on device, packaging, and at retail. This candidate will take a lead role in developing and maintaining an asset management system that can be effectively used by both internal and external constituents. The Partner Marketing team will also look to this candidate to foster and grow marketing relationships with a portfolio of content partners. The Associate Marketing Manager will be further responsible for acquiring and disseminating TV and film programming information and priorities across Roku. Other responsibilities may include administering departmental invoices, preparing partner presentations, and handling other ad hoc projects required by the on-site and remote directors.
Responsibilities:
-Manage acquisition and delivery of marketing assets to/from Roku content partners for retail, packaging, website, etc. to ensure successful new channel launches and partner marketing initiatives.
-Lead approval process between Roku marketing groups and content partners for print, online and packaging creative materials, from original drafts thru revisions and final submissions.
-Build and manage relationships with a portfolio of new and existing Roku content partners
-Develop and execute innovative retail and digital promotions that drive Roku streaming device sales and enhance Roku's relationship with content partners
-Liaise with other marketing groups to create and implement social promotions and other value-added marketing opportunities
-Collect and aggregate channel programming into a centralized marketing calendar and recommend priorities to internal partners.
-Partner directly with Roku's product marketing, OEM, social, demand, and web teams to determine necessary creative assets.
-Lead quarterly channel logo audits to maintain most current logo library and brand representation among content partners.
-Proactively work to find new way to streamline internal processes.
Experience/Qualifications:
-BA/BS degree required
-2+ years of functional marketing experience
-Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills
-Attention to detail and follow-thru essential
-Ability to collaborate with others both externally and internally to achieve goals
-Proactive personality who excels at working both individually and within a team environment
-Flexibility and an ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
-Solid knowledge of Photoshop and MS Office
-Knowledge of streaming and entertainment industry and eagerness to contribute new ideas
-Passionate about TV and Film
