The Los Angeles office has an exciting opportunity for an Temporary Account Coordinator to join its Convergence Division. The candidate will directly support the Convergence team on a variety of accounts in Consumer, Technology, Gaming and Fashion & Beauty categories.
•Provide administrative support to Convergence team
•Support department publicists on assigned project work
•Assemble client mailings and press kits
•Develop and maintain media lists
•Maintain department's master calendar
•Pitch clients to key media, under supervision of senior staff
•Coordinate client media coverage
•Schedule department meetings and appointments
•Assist in preparing monthly client activity reports
•Assist in planning and executing client events: researching vendors and getting quotes, guest list development, invitation seeding, tracking RSVPs, providing onsite staffing
•May work occasional evening or weekend events as needed
Qualifications
•A Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or related field
•1 years of related experience
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Previous experience at a publicity or talent agency
•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
•Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
•Positive, team-oriented attitude
•Demonstrated strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding the business impact
•Self-directed, resourceful and proactive
•Able to professionally interact with clients
•Proficient computer and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
•Previous entertainment experience
•Long-term career in entertainment publicity
•Thorough awareness of influencers: celebrities, bloggers, reality stars etc.
•Technologically savvy
