Currently, our Los Angeles office has an immediate opening for an Account Executive within its Faith & Family Publicity Department. We are seeking a media relations person with highly developed print, online and broadcast media contacts, impeccable client service, organizational and publicity/account management skills.
This position will spearhead publicity/PR campaigns and initiatives within our specified client group, leading many department campaigns and team members. You will be in daily contact with the media (pitching, PR reports, organizing interview schedules, etc.) and our clients to ensure that their goals are met in securing and identifying publicity opportunities. You will be responsible for producing high-quality work and excellent, time sensitive results.
• You must be able to multi-task and communicate professionally, effectively and relationally with our client.
• You will need to be able to handle many projects, tasks and deadlines at one time.
• You must have strong writing, PR and pitching skills, be organized, detailed and creative; in addition to being a people person.
If you are energetic, organized, thoughtful, and a creative public relations professional with 1-3 years of publicity experience (preferably some within an agency environment) please apply! Ideally, you will have a college degree, outstanding client and media relations skills, excellent writing ability and attention to detail. Most importantly, you should have an understanding of and desire to work within the faith-based market.
