Full Time Job
Rodale is currently seeking an Integrated Sales Director for Women’s Health. Our ideal candidate will be part of a fast-paced, collaborative sales and marketing team that generates print, digital and event sponsorship revenue through a strategic selling process of competitive/marketplace intelligence. Strong digital sales experience, an understanding of print and track record of success; proven communication, selling and negotiation skills are required.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, grow and maintain a base of strategic print and online (including digital, mobile, social, experiential and video) advertising partners
• Create and sell Women’s Health marquee events and custom solutions tailored to your clients’ objectives
• Prospect and break new accounts across categories
• Maintain complete and up-to-date records on client/agency contacts, budget cycles, sales call activity and client marketing objectives/strategies
Qualifications:
• 4-year college degree
• 5 years of successful digital advertising sales experience and a basic understanding of print
• Professional and articulate presence with highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong relationships with New York City agency contacts and national advertising clients
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively and persuasively in pressured sales environment
• Demonstrate effective and creative use of editorial, marketing and research information for business development outreach
