Rodale is seeking a Recruiter in our Emmaus, PA headquarters or New York, NY location. The ideal candidate will be a creative, collaborative, results-oriented talent expert who is particularly adept at balancing multiple priorities and building great business/candidate experiences aligned with Rodale’s talent strategy. This role requires someone who is dedicated to developing a strong recruitment process that supports both our business goals and candidate pipeline to deliver the best talent. The successful candidate will be a team player and have a passion for helping people reach their potential.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Full life-cycle recruitment across multiple levels
• Partner with Management-level members of the HR team to determine sourcing strategy to attract talent
• Build talent communities and pipelines for identified functions and key positions that meet current and future talent needs
• Develop customized sourcing strategies that are creative and innovative based on industry trends
• Utilize advanced search techniques including Boolean search on LinkedIn, social media, job boards, participation in networking events, and employee referrals to uncover high quality underutilized talent pools
• Contact and phone screen potential candidates based on talent needs that might also include candidate skills assessment and interest in position or organization
• Check references and extend offers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years’ successful experience in Sourcing/Recruiting
• Experience in publishing, digital, media or related industry
• Excellent understanding of the newest and most successful sourcing/research strategies
• Strong follow-up skills, demonstrated sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Proven success in sourcing/screening talent
• Self-starter with excellent written communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to cultivate strong business relationships and work within a team
• Ability to multitask and produce high volume pipelines under tight deadlines
