Rodale is currently seeking an Editorial Assistant Intern to begin immediately and work for six months in our New York City office. Prevention, the most trusted name in health, is seeking an intern to work in a fast-paced, exciting journalism environment. Join a small editorial team that’s passionate about health and wellness and about informing a large audience of readers about important health, medical, and lifestyle news and information.
Duties include assisting editors with research, writing, fact checking, story development, administration, and various other tasks with the end goal of producing dynamic, informative content for print and digital titles.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A background in journalism or writing/editing for magazines and websites.
• A passion for health and wellness.
• A reporter’s curiosity and the fearlessness to ask anything of anybody for a story.
• A willingness to work on deadline for both a monthly magazine and a website with daily postings.
