Roadtrip Nation seeks a Post-Production Specialist to join a cross-disciplinary team that thrives on impact, collaboration, and drinking ridiculous amounts of fancy coffee.
The Post-Production Specialist II is responsible for preparing and ensuring delivery of Roadtrip Nation video content. This role works with the Editors, Directors, Producers, and other video production staff to deliver videos to Roadtrip Nation's standards of storytelling and quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare video assets for delivery by assembling edited segments and required elements including RTN, partner, and distributor credits.
- Provide quality assurance, export, review, and deliver video projects for broadcast, online, partners, and events
- Color correct all video assets and review with Director
- Edit short form video content, online video, promos, curriculum videos, social media content, training videos and other content for RTN and partners
- Provide camera support to production staff including camera recording settings and troubleshooting
- Establish and oversee post-production workflow for media management including delivering, ingesting, and in-field backups of raw media
- Provide Adobe Creative Suite application support to production staff
- Export, review, and deliver highlights, interviews, excerpts, and web exclusives in required formats for the Interview Archive
- Team with internal and external personnel to collaborate on final production products by communicating technical video specifications and required assets for delivery.
- Coordinate delivery of video content to third party production companies, distributors, and partners
- Review completed broadcast projects with Series Producer, Director, and Creative Director of Video
- Create closed captions for broadcast content
- Support projects with basic video production tasks including but not limited to, camera operation, audio recording, and lighting.
- Design, animate and edit motion graphics as needed
Qualifications
- 4-6+ years of experience with video post-production
- Bachelor's degree in Video production with emphasis on editing, a degree from a film academy, related area of study or similar work experience
- Expert knowledge of video editing and post production software such as Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite
- Exceptional organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Awards and/or previous film or video examples/samples
- Lifting: up to 20 lbs camera gear bags
- Holding/lifting: 10lbs camera/audio gear for extended periods
- Travel up to %10
