Responsibilities
• Provide administrative and office support activities to the SVP, Business and Legal Affairs.
• Coordinate calendars, scheduling, travel and meeting logistics, coordinate conference call, videoconferencing and WebEx logistics as necessary.
• Draft basic form agreements, revise/redline/proofread including but not limited to talent agreements, deal memos and releases; production services agreements; location and vendor agreements; music licensing agreement; confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements; employment agreements; distribution agreements; and technology services agreements.
• Develop and implement office systems and procedures, which support the overall departments needs and those of the executives to which this position reports.
Required Experience
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Work independently and take initiative, prioritize with appropriate sense of urgency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
• Handle confidential matters appropriately and with discretion.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pinpoint problems and identify solutions.
• Professionally interface with all levels of the organization, clients and vendors.
• Accurate filing and maintenance of documents.
• Experience or working knowledge of music industry, trademarks, records management and/or legal matters is a plus.
• Well versed in standards and practices and music clearance matters as it specifically pertains to a music cable network.
• Minimum 2 years of prior business affairs or business and legal affairs experience in TV supporting senior executives.
