Search for Intern - Content Development Assistant (TV) jobs in Los Angeles-CA
Management Company seeks a self-motivated, detail-oriented Intern to support the Literary Talent Department. The ideal candidate possesses experience on a high volume desk and has a keen interest in film, TV and digital content development. Must be able to work well under pressure and navigate strong personalities.
Experience with covering pilots, conducting TV research, and having a strong grasp of the current television landscape is required.
The main goal of this company is working with and representing Writer, Directors, Producers.
Knowledge of production and relationships with literary agents is important.
Tasks:
Covering pilots
Researching TV content & production companies
In some projects you could be overseeing the development from inception to fruition.
You have to be aggressive and a go-getter.
Knowledge of the language of dealmaking is PLUS, turning that knowledge into action is KEY
Good communication skills to give notes on client projects, packaging clients is a MUST.
Hours are flexible, but attendance at the office is required twice a week on Project Development and Client Development days.
We are looking for a person who wants to learn, grow and build long lasting relationships in the business by being part of a team at a company where the drive is to build the BRAND of the CREATIVE and to support CREATIVE across the board for motion picture, TV and New Media.
Minimum 3 months commitment to begin with.
French speaking is a plus but not required.
