Part Time Job
Management Company seeks a self-motivated, detail-oriented part-time Development Assistant to support management at company's creative department. The ideal candidate possesses experience on a high volume desk and has a keen interest in film, TV, and digital content development. Must be able to work well under pressure and navigate strong personalities. The position is part-time.
This is not a 9-5 desk job. Significant time is spent in Europe and Asia to oversee projects on a monthly basis. The position involves supporting team members regardless of location. We share an agnostic and global perspective where communication and collaboration is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and delegating coverage reports/research to a small team of interns.
- Providing thoughtful and clear feedback directly to writers.
- Helping to determine which projects should be pursued.
- Assisting the CEO with various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, updating the calendar, and arranging conference calls.
- Logging submissions and relevant legal paperwork.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong English writing skills.
- Extensive experience in script coverage.
- A strong interest and understanding of the Digital Content landscape.
- An understanding of proper form and etiquette for client/partner/agency e-mails.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while communicating efficiently.
Additional Qualifications:
- Preferred availability and desire to travel internationally.
- College degree preferred.
- A desire and ability to network with other industry professionals.
