Temporary Recruiter
Founded in 2010, Respawn Entertainment is an independent video game development studio based in the San Fernando Valley of California that is focused on creating state-of-the-art gaming experiences for global audiences. The studio was formed by Jason West and Vince Zampella, former co-founders of Infinity Ward and creators of the multi-billion dollar Call of Duty and Modern Warfare franchises.
Respawn is developing a multi-platform game that works on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The game is based on new video game IP and is funded through its publishing deal with Electronic Arts, one of the top publishers in the industry.
Recruiter (Contract In-House)
Respawn Entertainment is looking for a contract/temporary Recruiter to work in-house at our studio, located in the Los Angeles area of California (San Fernando Valley).
Responsibilities
- Work with department leads to determine company hiring needs. Serve as point person for all things related to recruiting and hiring.
- Post ads online. Screen through applications and share appropriate candidates with hiring managers.
- Source talent, network with and initiate and/or maintain communication with candidates.
- Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews as needed.
- Liaise with schools, make contact with graduating talent. Attend job fairs as needed.
- Coordinate interviews and hiring processes. Negotiate offers.
- Assist with admin and light HR duties as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
- Organized, trust-worthy, and enthusiastic “people person.”
- Previous recruiting experience required.
- Experience in entertainment, tech, or creative media industries preferred.
- Solid track record of filling tough positions in a timely manner.
- Solid understanding of recruiting best practices, how to conduct a legal interview, discrimination laws, etc.
- HR experience a plus. |
