Relativity Media has an immediate opening for a Senior Financial Analyst role. This position is a highly visible role within a leading global film studio and diversified media company. This individual will be part of a small team that focuses on various strategic initiatives within the company, including corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, new ventures, strategic partnerships etc. This individual will play an influential role in determining the best avenues to optimize the Company's short- and long-growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain complex financial models in support of activities ranging from film financing, to capital raising, to traditional forecasting and analysis.
· Create and deliver executive-level presentations to communicate findings and support recommendations.
· Other related projects and tasks, as assigned.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Business Finance, Accounting or Economics required. Academic record must demonstrate a focus on business strategy and planning.
· Master's degree in related field preferred.
· 2-4 years of results-oriented work experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or in a corporate strategy/business development function within the entertainment, digital, or technology industries.
· Must have experience with and demonstrate mastery of financial modeling.
· Desire to thrive and consistently perform in a fast-paced environment where priorities are likely to evolve and change direction within compressed timeframes.
· Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to distill information and make recommendations clearly and succinctly to internal leaders and stakeholders.
· Comfort in managing multiple projects concurrently, and satisfying aggressive deadlines.
· Must possess exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, marked by a high level of professionalism, composure, and poise.
· Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel; proficient in the use of other Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
