Senior Financial Analyst

This is a Full Time Job

Candidate will evaluate and model a wide range of large-scale entertainment transactions (e.g., film slate deals, TV, video game, etc.), run film greenlight models, modeling of other corporate finance transactions.

All research and analytics must be done at a level of competency/accuracy comparable to what is performed at a second/third year analyst level at a top-level investment bank (e.g., Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch). Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential as well as the ability to work well in a team environment. Candidate should be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. In addition, candidate should be self motivated and well organized.

Senior financial analyst will develop detailed, comprehensive financial models for valuation and forecasting structured with a flexible and accessible set of primary inputs to allow for complex sensitivity testing. Models must be produced quickly and accurately - and in such a manner that a co-worker could easily take over their management. Models and their output are critical components of deliverables to senior management.

Other responsibilities will include researching potential deals, analyzing business plans, creating presentations, assisting in creating periodic investor reports, preparing ad-hoc financial analysis and other general business support as needed.

SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST - QUALIFICATIONS:
One to three years of relevant experience in finance preferably at a top-tier investment banking, private equity firm or similar financial institution. Candidate should have a solid understanding of financial concepts (e.g., IRR, DCF, various types of equity and debt instruments, etc.), statistical concepts (e.g., monte carlo analysis, regressions, etc.) accounting and financial statements. Undergraduate degree from and strong performance at a top-tier university. High-level of comfort in performing research activities. Demonstration of a high-degree of financial aptitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly proficient using Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint. Ideal candidate has working knowledge of Access and Visual Basic.
