Relativity Television is seeking administrative support for our COO & SVP of Development. Relativity Television is an award-winning producer of unscripted and scripted television content. Qualified applicants should have no less than one year of experience working in a high-paced entertainment environment (TV/agency experience a plus), have a bachelor's degree, and be willing to commit to a minimum of two years in the position. We are looking for a talented candidate with a strong interest in television and the willingness to help grow our rapidly-expanding scripted and international departments while helping to continue our success in unscripted.
Duties include heavy phones, coordinating schedules/calendars (including international travel & TV markets/conferences), communicating with scripted/unscripted talent, representation, producers, distributors, & financiers, staying up to speed on domestic & international TV business news, helping staff pilots & series, performing outreach to create new business relationships, maintaining grids to track scripted & unscripted projects, managing incoming creative & business development materials, coordinating industry events for high-profile guests, filing expense reports, facilitating communication between internal departments, and general departmental troubleshooting.
Candidates need to have strong writing & communication skills, be extremely organized, maintain a keen eye for detail, follow-through without direction, think critically, and be able to juggle between shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. We need an assistant with an ability to interact comfortably with high-profile individuals, a proclivity towards teamwork, and professional interpersonal skills. Proficiency with the Mac operating system and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) a must.
