Relativity Media, a next-generation studio engaged in film and TV production and distribution, music publishing, sports management and digital media, is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the three members of the Corporate Legal Department, including the Co-COO.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is ideal for someone with an interest in finance and/or law looking to gain studio experience in a department where these two fields intersect.
The opportunity calls for someone with strong communication skills, ability to juggle multiple tasks for multiple desks, strong initiative, excellent organization and follow through, and a high level of discretion with confidential matters and materials.
- Administrative Responsibilities
· Manage phones, scheduling, mail and calendar for Corporate General Counsel and Senior Counsel
· Prepare draft of legal documents from templates
· Input revisions to documents as directed
· Check legal forms for accuracy
· Preparing correspondence
· Maintain confidential information
· Other duties as assigned
- Desired Skills
· Strong team player that enjoys working independently and as part of a team
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
· Well organized with meticulous attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments
· Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
· Candidate should display a great deal of initiative, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure
· Some familiarity with legal documents, terminology and principles is a plus
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years administrative experience
- Prior experience in a corporate legal department (either at a law firm or in-house) is preferred, but not required
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
