Join the global leader in professional tradeshows MIPTV, MIPCOM (organized in Cannes, France) as well as MIPCANCUN and MIPCHINA. We are seeking a Sales Coordinator with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the trade show and/or conference industry who is looking to take their career to the next level. This position is based in our New York office and will support a dynamic business development group with a multi-million dollar portfolio and over 150 clients. The ideal candidate is someone who is a motivated team player with excellent analytical and data skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Candidate should be passionate about trade show management with a strong interest in the television and entertainment industry. Position will report to our Special Projects Manager supporting exhibition, advertising, and sponsorship sales targeting TV and digital entertainment studios in North and Latin America.
Key responsibilities:
• Generate and process client contracts
• Work directly with clients to communicate technical specifications, deadlines and follow up on all deliverables
• Responsible for detailed communication of relevant information to management, especially if there are any unforeseen delays or issues
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of exhibitor, advertising and sponsorship inventory
• Support business development team with special projects and reporting
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Conference departments in Paris as well as relevant departments in NY office
• Maintain floor plans, online photo library and onsite show binders for all tradeshows
Additional Information:
Job requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience in trade show, festival or conference organization required
• Preference given to candidate with background in TV/entertainment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft office, Salesforce)
• Spanish and French language skills a plus
• International travel possible
