Full Time Job
The Product Manager is responsible for assisting their assigned Event teams in creating and driving advertising and media product sales as well as strategies that achieve or exceed goals.
Responsibilities:
Working directly with the Sales Teams, the Product Manager is responsible for maintaining digital, print, and sponsorship product inventory, researching new sponsorship opportunities, and working with internal departments as well as external vendors to deliver products. The PM will also be heavily involved with the sponsorship fulfillment team to ensure proper execution of each sponsorship sold pre-show and onsite.
• Develop new product offerings for assigned brands with a primary focus on digital innovation and new media
• Review and improve existing product offerings
• Create a highly collaborative environment with best practice sharing across events teams
• Evaluate current market and assigned industry sector conditions to develop relevant revenue generating sponsorship opportunities
• Identify future market opportunities and define product vision and strategy.
• Understand customer needs and research product requirements.
• Engage closely with the Sales and Fulfillment teams to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule.
• The ideal candidate will be well versed in the digital world and have experience in the creation and implementation of a wide range of products and services that are applicable across the Event Management space
Additional Information:
Qualifications:
• College degree in business/marketing or related area, or equivalent business experience required
• Three or more years of related business experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required
• High level of computer systems comprehension, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong creativity skills to assist in the development of new sponsorship products
• Digital experience highly preferred
• Approximate Travel of 25% required.
