ReedPOP is the pop culture division of Reed Exhibitions, creating unique celebrations of pop culture that deliver experiences and capture the imaginations of passionate people everywhere to spread the currency of cool around the globe. The global ReedPOP portfolio encompasses PAX Aus, Oz Comic-Con, New York Comic Con, Star Wars Celebration, Twitchcon and other events in the pop culture world.
Overview of the role:
We're putting out the call for a Content Manager who will be responsible for curating the video game content, culture and community in our shows. To be successful in this role you will need a thorough understanding and passion for games and gaming culture, be able to work with companies and communities to shape the content and feature areas so they are credible for the audience, while striving for innovation.

Responsibilities:
The Content Manager will be responsible for developing high quality seminar, conference and panel content together with ensuring audience delivery across multiple channels. Working closely with both partners and the ReedPOP global team, this role involves a high level of project management, community management, general communication, networking and people skills.
From conceptualisation to the execution of the event, the Content Manager will live, breathe, and think this world, networking in a physical and online sense. You will be working closely with key associations, government, commercial developers, publishers and academics, interpreting the needs of the market, identifying trends and contributing to the event's content to ensure the events remain a unique product that supports the local gaming industry. The Content Manager will act upon above and below the line opportunities, through constant networking with local media, editors and bloggers.
About you:
You'll be the 'games expert' within the team, and have a thorough understanding of how the local games industry functions. Have the ability and credibility to network with everyone from streamers to publishers, journalists to developers, to always be representing the brand and fostering unique ideas for our shows.
