Red Bull Records is an independent music label and a division of the multi-national energy drink company. The label was established in 2007 and has a growing roster of musical artists. Our current roster consists of AWOLNATION, Twin Atlantic, Itch, Heaven's Basement, Five Knives, New Beat Fund, Beartooth, and Blitz Kids.
Red Bull Records is seeking dynamic, self-motivated, and team oriented interns to work in our West Hollywood office. An internship with Red Bull Records is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in the Music Industry and to learn about the marketing behind a music label and its roster of artists.
Interns will work directly with the marketing department staff and assist in the daily operations of the entire label. This is a paid, part time internship that requires a commitment of 6 months to the program.
Requirements:
- Resourceful self-starter with a professional, positive and proactive attitude
-Ability to problem-solve and multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
-Applicants must be enrolled in a university or a recent college grad.
-Must live in the Los Angeles area.
-Must have a strong desire/interest to work in marketing for a music label.
-Must provide your own transportation.
-Past music industry experience is a plus.
-Strong phone & email communication skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, outlook, excel, power point).
-Available to work 2-3 days a week for 6 months.
Job Description:
Interns will assist in the following
-Radio promotion
-Tour promotion
-Market research
-Manage the inventory and organization of merchandise and promotional material.
-Brainstorming creative promotional ideas for the label and artists
-Coordinate daily shipments and monthly radio promo mailings.
-Assist with reception duties.
-Attend staff meetings.
-Opportunity to network with various departments.
