Essential Job Functions
- Organization of folder structures, proper naming schemes, etc. of all footage kept on shared area network storage.
- Digitizing, compressing and converting footage for editorial use.
- Logging of pertinent information in accordance with security protocols.
- Creation and organization of projects for editors.
- Help producers to revise edits for new versions.
- Perform administrative tasks, including: maintaining the editorial calendar and other tracking documents.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an AE or Lead AE role.
- Extensive knowledge of Premiere Pro and AVID.
- Understanding to intermediate knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop and other Adobe apps.
- Excellent technical / troubleshooting skills.

- Understanding of HD/SD formats, file and tape based deliveries.
- Understanding of frame rates, conversions and codecs.
- Ability to prioritize, juggle multiple tasks, take direction, and give direction.
- Ability to communicate successfully with others.
Knowledge/Skills
- Must be very detail oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening.
- Must be able to communicate at various levels, appropriate to the audience (internal and external).
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities; must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt or 'switch gears' quickly.
- The candidate must be an exceptional problem solver.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Levelheaded, calm and functions well under stress.
- Keeps up to date / ahead of industry trends; visionary.
