A Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing multiple accounts or large accounts within the organization. This position is required to launch and manage campaign work, delegate assignments to the assistant team and ensure the needs of the client are met. The duties listed below illustrate the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements regarding duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment in association with this position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinates meetings with clients to discuss goals, objectives, and needs.
• Identifies public relations requirements and possible audiences.
• Devises PR campaigns.
• Presents campaign ideas to clients.
• Ensures budgets and ideas are approved by clients, Fashion Director and CEO.
• Formulates marketing strategies.
• Obtains approval for promotional work.
• Writes and proofreads detailed weekly and monthly reports.
• Participates in creating and presenting pitches.
• Oversees, reviews and delivers press releases.
• Communicates in build marketing campaigns with Fashion Director and CEO.
• Ensures press acquisition spanning print, online, and TV/film coverage.
• Maintains, establishes, and develops editorial, celebrity, and entertainment industry contacts for the firm.
• Oversees assistant staff and interns.
• Spearheads all phone and in-person meetings with clientele.
• Maintains regular contact with both PR staff and clients.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to plan, direct, and supervise the work of others
• Dynamic personality and exceptional client relationship skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• In depth knowledge of industry and sampling best practices and new developments
• Proven ability to generate leads
• Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions
• Ability to present information in a clear, organized, and convincing manner
• Ability to accurately and completely document in writing appropriate events and activities
• Ability to prepare clear and concise narrative and statistical reports
• Ability to operate appropriate Red Light PR computer equipment and software
