Global CFO
Independent record company, a division of the multi-national energy drink brand, is looking for a Global CFO.
• Work closely with the Managing Director in providing financial data, insight and analysis to build and support strategic planning
• Responsible for all Forecasting and Budgeting, and liaise with Corporate Finance to integrate into global financials
• Responsible for global Month End Close, working closely with shared service accounting teams
• Ensure company's business decisions are grounded in sound financial criteria
• Maintain controls and processes that will lead to cost containment
• Advise Managing Director on key business development, such as signing new artists, new revenue initiatives, etc.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to corporate controller on actuals, estimates, and forecasts
• Manage administration of the publishing division of Red Bull Records
• Review and implement improvements in general company operational efficiencies
• Review and approve Artist Royalty Statements, Producer Statements and mechanical royalty statements
• Review All Rights statements (i.e., touring, merchandise) to ensure accuracy
• Manage financial and administrative expectations with Artists, Business Managers, and Business Accountants
Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years of related experience
• Must have extensive and detailed knowledge of music business financial practices, publishing, and contracts
• Must have attention to detail, combined with big picture strategic thinking skills
• Self-motivated and able to follow through on assigned responsibilities as well as be able to think ahead and utilize problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's Degree, CPA preferred but not required
