OVERVIEW
Recreation Worldwide is a lifestyle and culture marketing agency bridging the gap between brands and electronic music. We create campaigns with some of the largest global brands and artists. Recreation Worldwide is partners with VICE Media on THUMP, a content vertical devoted to the world of electronic dance music and culture.
YOU
As a Sales Manager, you will be working alongside a team of creative and cultural innovators who have been at the forefront of the electronic dance music movement. You will be responsible for managing all sales activity by acquiring and developing new accounts for Recreation Worldwide and THUMP. The ideal candidate will cultivate meaningful client relationships that drive new and returning business through exceptional networking and staying abreast of the EDM culture, wider youthculture trends, advances in technology, and key developments in the branding landscape. Your sales duties will include: 360 integrated programs, branded content, event sponsorships, and creative strategy services.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively obtain new business and diversify the client portfolio of Recreation Worldwide and THUMP
- Develop new client relationships and strategy/insight for longterm business growth in coordination with senior management
- Manage and improve existing client relationships
- Coordinate sales efforts in conjunction with the CEO, Executive Creative Director, and General Manager
- Generate, followup and close potential sales leads including: responding to RFPs, pitch/presentation development, deal terms negotiation, etc.
- Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue income benchmarks
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales experience within agency setting or in media/entertainment industry
- Selfstarter and independent with demonstrated ability of achieving KPIs
- Established industry relationships
- Knowledgable, passionate and able to communicate about all facets of Recreation Worldwide and electronic dance music
- Creative problemsolving skills and a commitment to task execution and client satisfaction
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
