Job Description:
The Production Assistant is an entry-level temporary, full-time paid position at Reality Check Systems. Initial 6 month term with the possibility of extension and promotion to permanent staff position.
Activities:
• Shadowing Producer/Project Manager Team to learn processes of Reality Check Systems Production Pipeline
• Organizing and tracking project assets and deliverables
• Training on various Vizrt software tools
• Assisting Producer/Project Manager Team with any production-related activity as needed
• Running errands, maintaining schedules and calendars and other administrative duties as assigned
• Testing scenes in Pilot and Trio
• Training to understand software and hardware components of RCS Ticker Systems, RCS Scorebug and RCS Uppercut
• 1 week hardware ''Boot Camp'' training to learn our ''Bullet'' hardware systems
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of and passion for sports
• Strong ability to multitask
• Exceptional verbal and written communication
• Uncommon organizational skills
• Great creative problem-solving skills
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows software and Mac-based production tools including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Work flexible hours and days as project schedules dictate
• Experience working with graphics in a broadcast environment (preferred)
Must be based in the Los Angeles area.
