Who we're looking for…
RWS and Associates is currently seeking a full-time Cruise Ship Production Manager
About the role…
Reporting to the Executive Director of Entertainment Operations, the Production Manager will oversee all operational and creative logistics for multiple cruise ship production shows.
What's expected…
• Oversee NYC rehearsal process scheduling and performer logistics
• Coordinating travel for performers to/from NYC with travel department
• Supervise onboard tech rehearsals including all design and tech elements such as scenic, lighting, props.
• Coordinate and Manage onboard daily scheduling with the show director and Stage Manager.
• Coordinate and implement any technical changes onboard as instructed by RWS.
• Confirm and document the condition of all props as described by the Company Manager. Make any necessary repairs if needed.
• Coordinate the off-loading and return shipping of any props or scenic with the Stage Manager.
• Provide administrative support for the producer, show director and other production areas.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency are required.
What you bring…
• Experience in live show entertainment (Cruise Ship Production experience preferred but not mandatory)
• Have a minimum of three (3) years experience in entertainment production management or technical direction.
• Logistically and creative minded
• The ideal candidate will be energetic and inquisitive, great with people and show outstanding attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently and thrive in a multi-tasking environment. Will be working closely with the Executive Director of Entertainment Operations as well as with clients and vendors.
• An interest and love for traveling. This role will travel between 2-3 weeks for each onboard install period to locations around the globe.

Start date is Nov 3, 2014. Start date is approximated based on availability of candidate. Candidate must be available to travel out of the country in mid-December for onsite training.
