Who we're looking for…
RWS and Associates is currently seeking a Chief Operations Officer (COO) to serve as an executive leader within the company.
About the role…
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Operations Officer will oversee strategic and operational responsibility for the company and will lead a senior management team. The COO will provide leadership to strategic planning and process implementation. In addition, the COO will serve as a liaison to clients, partners and vendors and assist in the aggressive and successful growth of the company.

Continuously leverage the company's brand and pursuing new market opportunities to maximize top-line growth and margin performance, while simultaneously ensuring operational efficiencies through innovation and superior entertainment offerings.
• In collaboration with the CEO, develop and implement company policies and procedures.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and manage effectively within a given budget.
• Develop and implement a system to track and report on the strategic plan implementation.
• Analyze current processes to identify and implement improvements in operational efficiency.
• Design and implement the organizations operational model.
• Manage and cultivate new and existing relationships with clients, partners and vendors.
• Develop and implement risk management protocols.
• Manage the implementation and operation of information technology.
• Work with the CCO and creative teams to ensure updating, maintaining, and growth of creative innovation.
What you bring…
• Minimum BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Performing Arts or Human Resources; Prefer a Masters of Business Administration.
• A minimum of 7 years in a business management position.
• 3 plus years of experience in the entertainment industry.
• Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach a senior-level staff to manage and develop high-performance teams.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the entertainment and live event production industry.
• Forecasting and development of operational budgets and fiscal management.
• Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate to staff key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals.
• Experience managing Human Resources function including personnel, compensation, recruiting and policies.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
• Result oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible and innovative approach to operational management.
• Motivated, loyal, passion, integrity, mission-driven, and self-directed.
