Who we're looking for…
RWS and Associates is currently seeking a Chief Creative Officer (CCO) to serve as an executive leader within the company.
About the role…
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Creative Officer will oversee the company's creative strategy, marketing, PR, brand development, brand management, licensing and strategic partnerships, leading a senior management team. The CCO will provide leadership regarding the company's artistic vision and implementation. In addition, the CCO will serve as a liaison to clients, partners and vendors while assisting in the aggressive and successful growth of the company.

Continuously leverage the company's brand and pursuing new market opportunities to maximize top-line growth and margin performance, while simultaneously ensuring creative innovation and superior entertainment offerings.
• In collaboration with CEO, define and lead artistic vision for the company, in practice through both show/programming development and brand development.
• Identify and vet best-in-class, industry leaders to partner with RWS on client projects.
• Oversee team who conceive and development new show content, events, programs and initiatives for a highly successful entertainment product.
• Research and consider industry trends and advancement in technology, incorporating into artistic initiatives and client proposals.
• Identify and target potential corporate partners. Develop, write and present corporate partnership proposals to key clients.
• Develop brand marketing and communications strategy across all platforms, managing internal and agency resources to elevate brand awareness.
• Oversee all company media relations, from the development of proactive campaigns to the reactive management of direct inquiries.
• Spearhead creative development retreats and programs for internal teams.
• Assess and benchmark competition within the live entertainment and event production space.
• Work with the COO and internal teams to ensure maintenance and growth of creative innovation.
What you bring…
• Minimum BS/BA degree in Theatre, Marketing, Communications or Directing; Prefer an advanced degree in Performing Arts, Marketing or equivalent professional experience.
• 10 plus years in a creative management position.
• 7 plus years of experience in the entertainment industry. Experience with theme parks, cruise ships, resorts and corporate entertainment preferred.
• Excellence in creative development, brand management and programming with the ability to coach a senior-level staff to manage and develop high-performance teams.
• Strong history and proven portfolio demonstrating originality, innovation, problem solving and building brand equity.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the entertainment and live event production industry.
• Well-established contacts in the Broadway/theatre community, PR agencies, talent agencies and managers, and production.
• Forecasting and development of budgets and fiscal management.
• Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize, motivate and communicate to staff key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve company goals.
• Advanced written, verbal, presentation and communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
• Result oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible and innovative approach to creative management.
• Motivated, loyal, passion, integrity, mission-driven, and self-directed.
