Who we're looking for…
RWS & Associates is currently seeking a skilled Project Manager to assist the Executive Director of Entertainment Programming.
About the role…
The Entertainment Programming Project Manager will be in charge of overseeing and guiding a creative team through the install of at least two, thirty-forty minute theme park shows from start to finish. Responsibilities include creating production schedules, leading production meetings, corresponding with clients, coordinating delivery deadlines, organizing creative workshops, managing budgets and assisting with any duties typical of producing live entertainment.

To support the Company's reputation as a known source for delivering top quality shows and events as well as being an ambassador of the RWS brand.
• In collaboration with the Executive Director of Entertainment Programming, develop and implement department policies and procedures.
• Assist in hiring and contracting vendors involved in the program.
• Organize creative workshop by locating possible workshop venues, sourcing and purchasing rehearsal props, ensuring all technical elements are available, managing schedules, preparing materials for presentation to client and RWS executives, and recording and distributing daily production meeting notes.
• Schedule and lead production meetings during pre-production and while on-site to ensure all parties involved are on the same page.
• Attend show install and rehearsal period in order to manage all creative personalities and keep the install moving forward in the right direction according to the vision of RWS.
• Create Production Schedules and follow up to ensure all parties meet designated deadlines.
• Identify and proactively solve any potential problems regarding the show and show content.
• Correspond with clients and work to meet their needs while respecting RWS policies and procedures.
• Develop a good working report with all RWS talent and at the same time, maintaining a responsible administrative working relationship.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, coworkers and clients during pre-production and while on-site.
• Manage projects effectively within a given budget.
• Oversee on-site production for select theme park, retail, resort, and corporate events.
• Maintain flexible and extended working hours per production demands.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with MAC products and an application is a plus.
• Understanding that the position will require moderate to substantial traveling with evening and weekend responsibilities depending on production schedules.
What you bring…
• Minimum BA degree of Administration/Management in Theatre, Arts or Business.
• A minimum of 3 years professional experience in theatre, dance, music, corporate or theme park entertainment.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the entertainment and live event production industry.
• A broad understanding of all creative disciplines needed to complete a show install including staging, choreography, music, scenic, costumes, props, lighting, etc. as well as the ability to constructively critique and speak the language of each discipline.
• Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate to staff, clients, and vendors.
• Exceptional attention to detail!
• Ability to negotiate with vendors and come up with creative solutions to keep projects within budgets.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
