Who we're looking for…
RWS & Associates is currently seeking a Data Entry Intern.
About the role…
Reporting to the Senior Director of Design; Technical, the Data Entry Intern will be responsible for data collection and processing in support of the Design and Casting Departments. The intern will organize, analyze, and enter data into various software platforms (Airtable, Costume Inventory Database, and PLEX). The intern will also update data records and may contribute to data analysis and internet research in support of the assigned projects.
What's expected…
¥ prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry which can include uploading video files, scanning documents, or collecting forms to be stored in an onsite server.
¥ check source documents for accuracy.
¥ verify data and correct data where necessary.
¥ obtain further information for incomplete documents.
¥ update data and delete unnecessary files.
¥ combine and rearrange data from source documents where required.
¥ enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms.
¥ transcribe information into required electronic format.
¥ scan documents into document management systems or databases.
¥ check completed work for accuracy.
¥ store completed documents in designated locations.
¥ maintain logbooks or records of activities and tasks.
¥ respond to requests for information and access relevant files.
¥ print information when required.
¥ comply with data integrity and security policies.
¥ protect operations by keeping information confidential.

What you bring…
¥ current college student or recent graduate, studying Business Support, Administrative Services, Office Technology or Data Entry
¥ formal computer training (recommended)
¥ accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at 80 words per minute
¥ knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
¥ knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
¥ previous data entry experience (recommended)
¥ proficient in MS Office Suite, statistical software and Mac OS X
¥ experience with AirTable and the PLEX app (recommended)
¥ experiences in data mining and data collection techniques and procedures (recommended)
¥ a strong work ethic, commitment to accuracy, and ability to handle confidential information
