Legal Intern: RKO Pictures Internship Program SPRING 2014
RKO Pictures is seeking a second or third year law student to participate in its Business & Legal Affairs Internship Program. This is a great educational opportunity for a law student who is interested in learning about the entertainment industry and intellectual property law. Students will spend a majority of their time working on long-term copyright chain-of-title projects related to RKO's expansive film library. Students will also have the opportunity to assist the Business & Legal Affairs Department with a variety of issues and tasks as needed. The successful candidate will gain valuable knowledge and experience in copyright, intellectual property, and legal research and writing.
Qualified candidates must: be able to commit to a minimum of 14 hours a week for the spring semester; have exceptional organizational and writing skills; be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable. Although not required, completion of a Copyright Law course is a plus and MS Access knowledge is also a plus.
This is an unpaid internship and you MUST be able to receive school credit. NO CALLS.
