Join Sinclair Broadcast Group and The QYOU on an exciting opportunity with TBD, a new broadcast television network that delivers 'best of web' programming to TV audiences. TBD combines the unrivaled power and reach of free to air television with the programming coveted and consumed by the cord cutter generation on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo, Daily Motion, and many more.
TBD has content partnerships with popular and innovative creators on the Internet including Jukin (Fail Army), Whistle Sports, Pemberley Digital (The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, Frankenstein, MD, Emma Approved), Geek & Sundry, Nerdist and ZoominTV.
As Account Executive you will be responsible to drive revenue for the network via the development of new business partnerships, sales and execution of TV, digital and mobile campaigns with brand and DR advertisers.
Responsibilities:
- Forge and maintain relationships with brand marketers, commerce companies and DR advertisers.
- Ongoing build and management of a sales pipeline. Includes identifying potential clients, setting up and managing meetings and calls, and applying appropriate follow up skills to close opportunities.
- Work across key internal departments including on-air programming, licensing, technology and legal to ensure all stakeholders are in-synch.
- Assist in the development of sales collateral including presentations and proposals.
- Provide revenue and budget projections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Min. of 3 years work experience in brand or DR advertising sales with a proven track record of closing deals. Extra consideration will go to candidates who have experience in selling custom or integrated solutions
- Understanding of the digital video marketplace and business models including:
o Digital content creators
o Multichannel Networks
o Influencer marketing
o Branded content
- Strong working knowledge of the advertising marketplace and models associated with brand marketers, commerce and DR companies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Project management experience and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Proficiency in all Office applications, including proven skill in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Google Docs and Apple applications like Keynote are an advantage
- Demonstrated proficiency in social media and digital formats
