Propaganda GEM, a global leader in entertainment marketing specializing in product placement in film, television and music videos; promotions, events, celebrity outreach and licensing, seeks a seasoned Business Development Executive with a proven record of success to cultivate new business and grow our client roster.
We're looking for candidates who are motivated self-starters and independent workers. The ideal candidate has a very strong understanding of agency operations and new business strategies. Entertainment marketing experiences a must.
Candidates must have:
• Understanding of brands and both the corporate and entertainment worlds.
• Proven track record of agency or promotional agency experience.
• Experience developing new business partnerships with brands and alliances, generating revenue and increasing client rosters.
• Ability to identify issues and opportunities and structure approaches to achieve desired results.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing deals.
• Strong professional relationships with leaders in the corporate field.
• Served as lead on 10-20 major proposals/pitches.
• Solid presentation and reporting skills.
• Established relationships and a vast contact list of brand managers.
• Strong knowledge of the evolving players in the industry.
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships.
The position is based in Los Angeles and is commissions-only.
