TITLE: Manager, Branded Content – Creative
Summary:
Billboard / Hollywood Reporter Media Group is looking for a creative marketer to join our Branded Content team as Manager, Branded Content – Creative. The key responsibility of this position will be to strategize and implement new opportunities to help our clients reach their goals.
This position works across the Marketing, Editorial, Account Management and Product departments to create, develop and execute innovative cross-platform sales opportunities for leading digital agencies and Fortune 500 companies. Experience across execution of custom video, social and branded content is a must.
Responsibilities:
• Project manage multiple campaigns including video, photo, influencer/talent, event, and design components
• Lead all web-production efforts including copywriting, photo producing, and publishing of branded content across BMG properties
• Assist Executive Director in developing project plans, building production schedules, budget tracking and team resourcing
• Schedule creative kickoffs, regroups, and pre-production meetings in a timely manner
• Assist in strategy brainstorms, ideation, and concept development
• Keep detailed project status reports and update weekly branded status documents
• Ensure each program's brand guidelines are met and content is aligned with client expectations before deliverables are submitted
• Vet talent: deep dive research into social presence, brand alignments, recent projects, touring schedules, Billboard charts and more
• Create decks to organize and illustrate talent options or other program suggestions to partners
• Communicate directly with clients on program process and answer/ask questions related to production throughout program
• Coordinate talent: book flights/ accommodations/ cars and communicate schedule clearly with teams
• Contract shepherding
• Communicate invoicing terms and details, relay billing paperwork, process invoices, communicate with Finance and resolve payment issues
• Work closely with Account Managers and Marketing to stay on track with client objectives and deliverables
• Coordinate and book print and digital assets, communicate asset delivery terms, traffic, and send recaps to partners
• Work cross functionally with finance, product, design, marketing, edit and sales to ensure major projects can get from idea to execution smoothly
• Problem-solve between inter-departmental teams on a daily basis
• Attend shoots or events and document on-set information and reporting to internal team
• Write and publish content for branded programs to distribute online, in-book or on social
Required Qualifications:
• 3-5 years' experience at a Music or Entertainment company in content, strategic marketing, brand partnerships
• Has a keen interest and deep understanding in web content, social media, new music and entertainment mediums
• Is a true pop-culture enthusiast and has a vast understanding of the music, entertainment and media industries
• Is excellent at time management and multitasking multiple artist-driven programs and large-scale advertisers
• Assertive, detail-oriented, organized, and able to build consensus and drive ideas amongst a diverse group of marketers, strategists, and brand partnership team members
• Proactive learner with the ability to 'wear many hats' and take on new, growing responsibility

• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Must be highly organized, have demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables, with strong attention to detail under tight deadlines
