Full Time Job
The Hollywood Reporter/Billboard is looking for content managers in their Los Angeles office. This person will be responsible for managing all content for a new daily news show.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
• Uploading content to Youtube, and our content management system.
• Writing headlines, creating keywords and descriptions for videos.
• Creating Youtube thumbnails and descriptors.
• Working closely with the editorial team to ensure videos are inserted into all relevant articles.
• Monitor and track traffic of videos on THR.com and social sites.
• Create subtitled videos for social media.
• Coordinate with the social team on distribution across social sites.
• Work with the distribution team to syndicate appropriate videos.
• Help keep track of trending videos analytics tool and constantly find new places to insert videos into related articles.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal applicant will have some experience in a news environment, a social media background, a strong passion and aptitude for writing and journalism, and experience with managing content in a fast-paced setting.
* Should have a minimum 2 years of similar experience in digital space
* Self starter who is resources working with tight deadlines and minimal supervision
* Experience working in a start-up environment or new digital department preferred
* Proven ability to manage and meet tight deadlines
* Ability to produce content rapidly
* Able to review Google Analytics and provide performance reports to appropriate internal parties
