Hi there,
ProfoundlyHuman com is a news + entertainment hub looking at the human side of news in culture, biz, spirituality, tech and relationships. Our senior editors and contributors are award winning Canadian Playwrights, to Huffington Post and EliteDaily com contributors, to best-selling authors. We come from a variety of backgrounds and we pride ourselves on being excellent, snippy storytellers.
We're looking for writers to do 2-3 pieces per week, 200-1800 words, commentary on trending topics and pop-culture, incorporating personal experience into the pieces. We ask our writers to write from a deeply personal place while also having their finger on the pulse of society and culture. Each morning, the managing editor sends an email to the writers with that day's newsy events and tone, and writers are asked to either select pieces or topics, or pitch their own.
