Search for Director West Coast Sales - Media Broadcast Services jobs in Culver City-CA
Director West Coast Sales will be responsible for all sales activities, sales personnel and customer satisfaction in the Western Region. Individual will also co-develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and sales strategy to create awareness of product offering, generate trial, close revenue and nurture accounts.
Role will require consultative selling approach and responsibilities will include analyzing customer needs, advising customers on how to implement the application and services into their organization, identify and validate ROI, and solidify long standing relationships.
Role Requirements:
• Establish annual and quarterly sales objectives and quotas (forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for region and territory; projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products and services).
• Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales team while maintaining focus on the company's strategic goals.
• Direct Management of Large Accounts - must become the customer advocate.
• Identify and search for new prospects and business opportunities.
• Product and services offering is technical in nature, demanding a combination of technical & solution sales experience and/or Business Process Management Services Sales experience.
• Knowledge of the media industry and media services (i.e. iTunes/Netflix servicing, metadata management, international servicing).
• Experience selling Broadcast Services (i.e. playout, automation)
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in a sales role.
• Production Company/Broadcaster/Studio/Advertiser client relationships.
• Experience at companies like: Deluxe, Archiva, Red Bee, Technicolor, Globecast, Harris, Avid, Grass Valley, and/or in the media practices of IBM, Cognizant, Accenture is beneficial.
