As a videographer/ video editor intern, you will be responsible for creating compelling and communicative videos that promote our sites, newsletters, eBooks, products, and other services. We want you to help us speak to our audience through video. That means we'd like you to produce and edit educational how-to videos in the areas of cooking and crafting. There will be huge room to grow in this position, and we're looking for someone who's able to be flexible and open to some editorial responsibilities. SEO experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Current college student majoring in film/video production or related field
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, iMovie, Final Cut (7 or X), Photoshop
- Able to handle multiple projects at once
- Able to research projects to learn about them prior to filming
- Comfortable directing, interviewing, and helping people relax in front of the camera
- Product photography/videography preferred (not necessary)
- Interest in and/or experience with women's lifestyle content
- Coordination with college or university for credit is available as determined by college or university.
Interns typically work in our office, 8:30AM- 5:30PM (with one hour for lunch). Flex time and half-day Friday summer hour programs available. We prefer interns who can work 5 days per week (full time). Candidates who prefer to work 3 or 4 days per week may also apply and indicate days available.
