Intern will be working directly with Hosh Gureli and Seth Faber at Primary Wave. Our division specializes in the management of Electronic/Dance Producer/DJ's. Intern we need should have knowledge/expertise in helping advance shows, completing itineraries, booking travel. Knowledge of Photoshop to help design one sheets, promo & newsletter email blasts are a big plus. Intern will learn all aspects of Artist management, including the A&R'ing of artist records, interaction with labels, knowledge of the metrics in which gatekeepers like Spotify, Itunes/Apple Music, Radio Stations, magazines, blogs, etc look for. Development and planning of artist projects and brand. Hosh has 30 years experience in working at a major market radio station, A&R for Clive Davis at Arista, RCA & J. Seth Faber has major label marketing experience working at both J records & Island Def Jam records and was named by Billboard Magazine as a Top 30 under 30 music executive in 2009. Current roster includes Audien, Jenaux, BRKYLN, Niko The Kid, Solidisco, Marc Stout, Baggi & Harlee
Requirements
Intern must receive college credit to be eligible for consideration.
Knowledge and experience in Photoshop
Knowledge of Electronic/Dance Blogs
Experience in Digital Audio edit is preferred but not required
Complete knowledge of all new social media platforms
Awareness of breaking trends and new artists
Responsibilities
Monitoring artist social media accounts
Assist in advancing shows; i.e. booking travel, creating itineraries
Help evaluate new music, new artwork, new logos
Keep up to date on new releases and inform management team of artists/songs that are breaking out
Create artist flyers
Update promotional mailing lists
