We are an established (and very cool) digital media company, who works with major studio clients to prepare their media for digital release. We are looking to add a member to our Fulfillment team, whose primary responsibility would be to transcode files, validate assets according to service specifications and the distribution (delivery) of content to digital services providers. This position is full time: 4 days during the week and one weekend day (there is flexibility in how that is arranged). Upon a successful completion of the first probationary month, a full-time position with benefits will be considered and potentially offered.
Desired Skills:
- Very detail oriented
- Reliable/Responsible
- Ability to comprehend technical specifications and apply that understanding on a daily basis
- Comfortable excelling in a team environment
- General knowledge as it relates to video & audio files (codecs, frame rates, audio settings/configurations), metadata, video encoding, transcoding, File transfer Protocols & Software (i.e. Aspera), and MS Office.
- Ability to adjust schedule and/or work overtime a plus
-Team Oriented
- Applicant must be highly computer savvy.
- College degree or equivalent preferred
- Studio/TV/Film/Pre & Post Production experience desired but not required
