PDS is seeking a people-friendly IT Support Technician to join our digital distribution team. You are comfortable around technology, curious, and a great communicator. Your core responsibility will be to provide on-site technical support five days a week. Additionally, you will provide assistance for various tasks related to data centers and new hardware deployment.
Job Duties:
Provide Tier I (initial level) support for our team that run into technical issues on workstations, servers and laptops.
Resolve the basic and repeatable issues, route tickets appropriately through the support system.
Document work, and triage and escalate internally, as needed.
Perform post-deployment follow-up to confirm that deployed fixes are functional.
Help keep the data center up and running.
Job Requirements:
2+ years of technical use of personal computers.
Strong communication, time management, interpersonal and analytical skill sets.
Ability and desire to provide excellent support for our team.
Working knowledge of MS, OSX, Linux operating systems and applications.
Media and Entertainment experience a plus.
Salary 55K plus top class benefits.
