Digital Asset Manager
Established and extremely cool digital distribution company looking for an Asset Manager to work in our Client Services department. If you know and love movies--this is the job for you!
The following traits are a must:
Meticulous and organized
Team player .
Ability to multitask and adapt to change
Strong attention to detail
Asset Management experience and proficient use of Mac operating systems is preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Tracking incoming digital content
Moving files to appropriate departments
Ensuring all corresponding content is properly linked to our tracking system (''The Portal'')
Spot checking and correcting minor issues with incoming files
Understanding internal workflows and each team's responsibilities
Assisting with organizational and project-related tasks, as needed
Adapting to shifting procedures and responsibilities
Reviewing metadata
Other tasks as needed.
Required Skills:
Fundamental knowledge of: file formats, audio spec, audio/video issues (macroblocking/ghosting/aliasing), tape formats, etc.
Experience in post-production a plus
Experience using Quicktime Pro or other related software.
Comfortable working in a Mac environment
Film degree or equivalent experience
