Populus Brands is a first-of-its-kind branded entertainment and business development company rooted in storytelling across every platform. We synchronize the power of content by forging partnerships between content creators, sponsors, licensees, marketers, retailers, and venture capitalists.
Populus Interns will have the opportunity to get involved with the branding of our many projects as we connect them with major advertisers and find ways to expand our clients' brands across all media platforms. Populus Interns will walk away with a high level understanding of the world of branded entertainment, brand development, as well as technical and professional skills - and all in the context of television and television production.
Responsibilities
• Assigned tasks under a weekly rotation within our company's three major departments: Development and Client Relations, Operations and Production, and Sales and Recruitment
• Tasks can include: Industry research, client brand strategy and implementation, client scheduling, client and other status reports, cold calling, lead generation, as well as general clerical work
• Individually creating a 20-week long social media campaign with the inclusion of branded content, research and analytics
• Intern team project, where you build an original brand from the ground up, covering major facets of sales/outreach and content production
• Weekly meetings and updates with the CEO, gaining direct insight from top leadership
• Attending TV Tapings of shows for reality shows and sitcoms, exposing interns to studio life in LA and branded entertainment for major shows
Qualifications
• Must have a general interest in entertainment marketing and product integration
• Must be able to receive credit for the internship
• Ability to communicate effectively with other interns and higher up staff members
• Ability to skillfully time manage and prioritize tasks
• Must be a self-starter and have an eagerness to learn
• Must be able to work on their own as well as a team environment
