POPSUGAR Studios is looking for a Video Brand Partnership Manager who oversees client funded video content that is sponsored by and/or produced in partnership with Fortune 500 brands. The ideal candidate will be well versed in content development for the web, posses great client-facing skills, tact and have a passion for the content produced at POPSUGAR. The position will represent POPSUGAR studios to clients and agencies and work with in-house producers to make sure projects are executed at the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the brainstorm process for Client Funded Video Content. Be able to respond to video driven RFP's quickly by pulling ideas from the creative team: producers, writers and directors.
Write and Edit pitch decks that will go to the client in collaboration with producers.
Develop smart integrations for editorial videos and ensure what get's pitched by sales is what was agreed to by the editorial department.
Be able to make fast eyeball estimates on video concepts that are being pitched
Manage key documents used by all departments (Studios/Editorial/Sales/Marketing) to sell video and track the production process.
Handle communication to clients and agencies on behalf of POPSUGAR studios. Must pitch creative, convey integrations, prepare client facing docs, confirm/answer project details and outstanding questions.
Translate sales objectives into an actionable tasks for producers.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, producers, writers, 3rd party vendors and production team to ensure overall content strategies are achieved.
Prepare producing and management teams with all information needed for pre-production and shoots including timelines, brand guidelines, legal requirements, casting, graphics, integration creative, etc.
Identify and secure all client product needed for each shoot. Experience with complex product lines a plus.
Collaborate and approve all client product placements & imagery in rough & lock cuts.
Manage post sale approval and notes process. This includes client and agency as well as key stakeholders within POPSUGAR.
Create and adhere to content calendars and maintain editorial standards of quality and accuracy.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years working with digital video
A background working with and leading communication with brands
Can understand video creative and has experience pitching to brands and agencies
A passion for the POPSUGAR brand and an understanding of the topics and trends we cover
Superb people skills; Must be able to calmly interface with people throughout POPSUGAR as well as brands and agencies.
Must enjoy and thrive working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-oriented dynamic environment. Including the ability to maintain high energy under pressure.
A strong creative vision that is both inspired and commercial
Exceptional writing and communication skills
Thorough understanding of the video production process
