POPSUGAR Studios is looking for a senior level producer who can develop, produce and manage video content that is sponsored by or produced in partnership with Fortune 500 brands. The ideal candidate will be well versed in content development for web and/or TV, a passion for producing POPSUGAR style content, and great client-facing skills.
Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality lifestyle video in the areas of fashion, beauty, fitness, home, family and entertainment;
Generate inspired, sharable ideas and video concepts on tight deadlines based on client needs.
Lead brainstorming and development meetings with producers
Manage video projects from pre- to post-production including: development, booking/casting, writing creative, booking locations, on-set producing, conducting interviews, overseeing editing/post, deliver cuts on schedule, address client notes, and interface with various departments and clients.
Maintain an on-going roster of Producers, Directors, DP's, Editors, etc and assemble a world class team for each production
Able to balance the demands of high profile clients against budgets, logistics, and editorial objectives, and to liaise effectively between different departments and meet the needs of all parties: sales, clients, and editorial.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience producing alternative television, commercials or digital content.
A passion for and understanding of current trends.
A strong creative vision that is both inspired and commercial, and able to execute show concepts into high-quality productions.
Grace under pressure, great people skills, high integrity, proactive, adaptable and flexible.
Exceptional writing and communication skills for interviewing and storytelling.
Organizational skills and being detail-oriented are a must. Master of multitasking and juggling.
Thorough understanding of every aspects of physical production, from development to delivery.
