Assistant to the Executive Producer
JOB DESCRIPTION
POPFilms, in Atlanta, Georgia, is hiring an ASSISTANT TO THE EXECUTIVE PRODUCER.
This is an entry-level position providing administrative support to the Executive Producer with an emphasis on daily production needs. The job is best suited for those who have an indie spirit and want to break into the studio world.
Responsibilities include: answering calls, managing calendar, running business errands, tracking production related paperwork, maintaining production binders and providing support to the producer for ancillary projects and special projects as requested.
This position offers exposure to all areas of production, from independent film development to scripted network television. The position will follow the schedule of the television or film in production - i.e., 12-hour days are standard with call times shifting daily.
Ideal candidates will exhibit a passion for film and seek a career in production and eventually producing. If you make or have made films on the weekend - even better. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment, and are able to intuitively prioritize tasks without heavy-handed oversight and management.

Qualifications
• Experience providing support to a busy, in-demand individual or group of individuals
• Industry experience preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
• A customer service background or excellent interpersonal/customer service skills
• Willingness to take initiative and resolve problems
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-orientated environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail and quality control
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required; Mac experience a plus
