Pop (A CBS/Lionsgate Partnership - formerly TVGN / TV Guide Network) has an immediate opening for a Senior Finance and Strategy Analyst. The candidate will be a key member of Pop's finance and corporate strategy teams, with exposure to financial planning and analysis, strategic planning, corporate development initiatives, and financial reporting.
On January 14, 2015, Pop officially launched. With over 400 hours of fan-fueled original programming, Pop will provide a multi-platform destination that creates content around the things popping in fan culture. Pop will give fans a dedicated channel that loves being a fan as much as they do. A channel filled with optimism, passion, funny and excitement. A channel that understands the fun doesn't stop when the credits roll…it's just the beginning.

Responsibilities for this position will include:
• Create and consolidate department financial forecasts / budgets, including coordination with stakeholders in various departments (e.g, content distribution / affiliate, marketing, original programming)
• Provide insight on financial performance, including analysis of variance to prior periods or forecasts
• Evaluate new business initiatives, including generation of financial models and presentations
• Assist with development of quarterly Board of Directors presentations
• Prepare select reports to support financial close process
• Conduct ad hoc finance / corporate development analyses as needed
Skills / Qualities desired:
• Strong financial modeling expertise
• Independent, problem solving, and analytical mindset
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Finance and/or Accounting
2-4 years of experience in related field (the level of expertise required is pre-MBA)
High proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Prior entertainment / television experience preferred
Experience with SAP a plus
