Summary of Position:
POP has an immediate opening for a Coordinator, who is an experienced, energetic and team-oriented individual who wants to join a leading organization and who is passionate about the brand and the vertical. The position will support the POP Marketing Team in Los Angeles and will facilitate the execution of marketing initiatives, promotions and media plans promoting POP, and provide administrative support for the Department Executives. Responsibilities:
Facilitate the execution of strategic marketing programs for POP
Compose work orders, project summaries and performance recaps for POP marketing initiatives/campaigns
Create project timelines and coordinate the delivery of assets for internal programs, cross-divisional marketing initiatives and external ad campaigns
Work directly with outside agencies and across departments within The POP Network to execute marketing and advertising campaigns
Spearhead new media projects including graphics and asset requests for Digital platforms, off-site digital advertising, online partnerships, sweepstakes and promotions
Coordinate the flow of information and materials among departments to facilitate the marketing process
Cooperate actively with members of the Marketing Department, other Company Departments as well as outside agencies to ensure that the objectives of the Marketing Dept and Company are met
Monitor and collect information on POP competitors
Maintain departmental tracking documents (calendars, planning grids & deadline documents).
Schedule meetings with sales reps, vendors and outside agencies as necessary.
Provide Admin support to VP Marketing & Brand Strategy
Overall Marketing Team support
Experience & Skills:
1-2 yrs marketing experience
Superior written and oral communication skills
Must be able to prioritize and work on multiple projects with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
Must possess detailed organizational skills, project management skills and effective communication skills
Knowledge of online media preferred. Must be proficient in PC and Macintosh programs: MS Word, Excel required, PowerPoint. Knowledge of/passion for TV is preferred
