We are currently seeking a Retail Inventory Coordinator for our New York, NY location. The Retail Inventory Coordinator will work alongside our Retail Managers of the location.
• Maintains inventory record of product, sales materials, equipment, supplies and other general stock items; does related work as required.
• Responsible for all shipping/receiving and maintaining incoming/outgoing mailing process.
• Corresponds or converses with vendors and personnel concerning inquiries about merchandise ordered.
• Packs merchandise to be returned to vendor and properly marks it and attaches any noted or correspondence thereto
• Delivers supplies and equipment where needed
• Uses computer applications such as point of sale programs, spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software in performing work assignments.
• Assist in reconciling discrepancies in inventory, receiving, reports, asset management (Property Control) or other departments.
• Develop Asset Protection procedure for inventory relocations, additions, deletions, etc.
• Work with staff and vendors to maintain that Asset Protection procedures are met.
• Identify product locations and whereabouts within each operation.
• Schedule preventive maintenance checks and audits regarding equipment location to ensure upkeep of inventory.
• Create daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports or as requested by client
• Ability to handle up to 50lb boxes
• Work with building management for hours and procedures for shipping/receiving and request of freight elevator as needed
• Support overall duties and tasks assigned by Retail Managers on day to day operations
