Plexus Entertainment, creator of GoWatchIt, a software platform for movie and TV show marketing and tool for consumer discovery and consumption of filmed content, is looking for a talented, forward-thinker to be the heartbeat of our Union Square HQ. As our Business Affairs Manager you will provide outreach and support to our movie studio/distributor, TV network and media partners as well as project and workflow management services to our CEO and COO. To be successful in this role, you must be a smart, creative thinker and a friendly, outgoing individual who possesses an incredible level of organization and attention to detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must also have a genuine interest in digital media and a willingness to take initiative to drive our business forward with an eye to expanding your role over time.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Prioritizing management tasks and pushing key agendas forward
• Generating and reviewing critical client correspondence and other documents/presentations
• Assisting with prospective client outreach and direct client support
• Participating in PR activities and social media marketing and product development
• Serving as liaison between upper management and staff
• Other tasks as required: facilities oversight, conference coordination, organization of in-office events
Preferred requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (advanced degree a plus)
• At least 1 year experience managing/leading people, projects, assignments
• Exceptional spoken and written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and related Google apps and Gmail
• Creative thinker and innovative problem-solver, enjoys seeking out answers and trying new processes
• Genuine enjoyment in helping others, including clients and team members
• Strong work ethic; desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
• Self-motivated, driven, organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize and excel in a fast-paced environment
• Positive and energetic
