This position is responsible for managing VOD operations, implementing MSO best practices, and helping increase revenue and usage on the Video On Demand (VOD) platform. The manager will also be responsible for communicating ideas and strategies for implementation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify MSO and competitor “best practices” in order to evaluate positioning and merchandising of Playboy Plus On Demand products.
• Manage various workflows associated with VOD delivery.
• Work with the VOD team to perform content/EPG audits.
• Analyze data to identify trends and increase revenue.
• Aggregate, QC and maintain matrix for VOD box art and manage trafficking of these assets.
• Review pitch reports and content propagation. Work with outside vendors and distributors to identify and correct any issues.
• QC monthly Transmission Planners.
• Review studio invoices and manage cost reports to ensure accuracy of services rendered.
• Identify and evaluate VOD related products and software in order to create new efficiencies, reduce error, and optimize workflow(s).
• Manage expectations & communicate when there are issues.
• Provide support to internal and external teams as needed.
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 4 years experience at an MSO or cable broadcast network.
• Minimum 3 years working in entertainment and media space.
• Knowledge of digital media and familiarity with Video On Demand Distribution & Operations
• Strong Microsoft Office and database knowledge.
• Must be an Excel power user.
• Organizational skills and general administrative experience required.
• Knowledge of Rentrak preferable.

• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, provide strong problem solving skills & strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects based on changing requirements.
• Ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization as well as outside vendors and clients.
• Ability to provide good judgment toward creative ideas & suggestions and facilitate full implementation. |
